  I have always found the staff at the Brantford Lowe's to be approachable and knowledgable, in comparison to a competitor. Of utmost importance is not having to spend frustrating time looking for staff.

  Love the store . Staff in the store other then up front are excellent.. cashiers and customer service staff up front are poor at best.theres one lady who often oversees the self scab and she's a disaster. Just terrible.

  I was looking for a drill that was on special. I was directed to a gentleman who got the drill for me. Fast and friendly. The Porter Cable drill was a great deal!!!

  I made a purchase of 2 garage doors plus installation on my Lowes card. Advertised Discounts were applied. Guy Paper filled out with 2 staff signatures plus mine. 2 days later I received a call saying there was a glitch in the system and I must pay an additional 450.00 for one of the doors as it wasn't charged for on my card. After reading Lowes fine print I realized they were bound to the written signed agreement. I had to stand up for my rights according to their contract. Many phone calls lead to frustration on my part. It took me going in there face to face and showing them in their own fine print ( a legal signed document) that this agreement stands and that it wasn't my fault there was "a glitch in their system". I remained calm throughout and the assistant manager realized I was right. He then took steps to rectify the situation in my favour. He said this was the first time anyone has ever come to him using Lowes fine print in a customer's favour. Wow....I hope people aren't allowing themselves to be coerced into paying more after the paperwork is signed!!!

  I like Lowe's but lately their service seems to be slipping. I think they have cut back their staff too much. On Saturday we waited along with three other customers for an associate in the plumbing department. The auto pager was constanrly paging looking for help in variuos departments, it was driving me up the wall, so much so that we checked out with $260. in goods and finished our shopping at Home Depot.
