When I went the salad bar was very dirty. I dished out some lettuce only to find pieces covered in dirt. We also had to ask for someone to fill it. Only one gluten free option on the menu and it was terrible. I at least gave it 2 stars because my friend enjoyed her meal.

Papa Johns is on the other side of the plaza and gets your pizza right every time. I prefer homestyle to manufactured, but in this battle I will take the manufactured one

The pizza was overcooked, we asked for well done which in my opinion means browning the cheese and the crust. Not blackening.

For Nostalgic Reasons, I wanted it to be better...It's nothing like I remember as a Kid. Decor is off, staff seems to be the owners making one last ditch effort which is always a bad sign.

We arrived at noon on a Friday, hoping to take advantage of the lunch buffet. The restaurant was empty, except for 2 tables with larger parties seated at them (with pizzas already on their tables). The hostess told us it would be 25 minutes wait before we could eat - at the buffet. Not because there was a crowd and no tables, not because they had too few staff to serve us (we would be helping ourselves) but because they had about 20 people already in the restaurant. Uhhh - if their capacity does not accommodate for more than 20 people, I think they probably need a better business plan that understands how restaurants work.

Pasta was decent. The pizza looked old so I skipped it. Dessert was just purchased squares.

I grew up 2 blocks from the one at Upper Gage and Mohawk in Hamilton, this brought back no memories. Sadly.

Sometimes you have to write an honest and fair review in a negative manner, even when you love the place. I just don't think the company has much life left with this leadership group in place.

I though i would try Mothers pizza again based on a great experience i had years ago. Second tume was a disappointment. When i first tried Mothers it was deep dish Chicago style. But when i went there and tried it again it was thin crust and salty. It was far from my experience years ago.
